Job Description / Responsibilities

Datacentre Hands and Feet Support Engineer - Well versed in below activities

Equipment Moves, Installation and Setup
Troubleshooting and Break Fix Tasks
Decommissioning and Disposal
Maintenance and Repairs
Monitoring and Reporting
Inventory Asset Management
Emergency Response
Lab Cleanliness and Safety
Basic Testbed Support

Mandatory Knowledge and experience in below tasks

Install and configure hardware components such as servers, routers, and switches

Installation and upgrade of IOS, OS, ESXi

Help to replicate or build configurations based on customer requirement.

Installation and networking of Managed Power Distribution Unites mPDUs

Intra and Inter lab equipment and rack moves

Cable management, including running, organizing, topology clean-up, and labelling network cables

Troubleshooting and Break Fix Tasks

Conduct basic diagnostics to identify hardware issues.

Network debugging, tracking layer 1 to 3 issues

Router, Switch, installation and Upgrade experience is must

Rack & Stack, PDU installation experience is must

Should have experience in labelling inventory tracking for components and devices inside Datacentre
