Job description

We are seeking a forward-thinking hands-on Data Science Manager to lead efforts in transforming how our organization uses data to drive operational excellence. This role will focus on applying advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and emerging Generative AI (GenAI) technologies to unlock insights and enable smarter, faster decisions across key business functions including Planning, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Sales, and Logistics. You will lead a team focused on integrating data science into core operational processes automating manual workflows, enhancing visibility, forecasting key business drivers, and supporting strategic planning through data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and deployment of predictive and prescriptive analytics that power decision-making across operations
  • Drive data transformation initiatives, replacing manual, fragmented reporting with scalable, automated solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to identify high-impact opportunities and translate business needs into scalable data science solutions
  • Lead and collaborate with a network of data science talent driving a culture focused on innovation, execution, and measurable impact.
  • Develop and deploy systems that deliver timely, actionable insights across operations, enabling proactive planning, forecasting, and disruption management.
  • Drive automation and innovation by streamlining workflows with intelligent tools, including piloting GenAI applications to enhance visibility, communication, and business responsiveness.

Key Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in data science, with 2+ years in a leadership or product driven role
  • Proven track record of applying analytics to complex operational domains (e.g., planning, supply chain, sourcing)
  • Deep proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud-based data environments
  • Experience with advanced modeling techniques (forecasting, optimization, classification)
  • Exposure to GenAI tools or LLMs, and an interest in applying them in real-world business contexts
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills able to bridge data and strategy
