Position Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role is crucial in providing support to medical staff and ensuring excellence in patient care. We have locations in Hinsdale, Downers Grove and Plainfield IL.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical history, and reason for visit.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by a physician.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and sufficiently stocked.
• Update and manage patient records in electronic health systems accurately.
• Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, and wellness strategies.
• Facilitate effective communication between patients and healthcare providers.
• Perform basic laboratory tests on-site and handle specimens as necessary.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage follow-up care.
• Adhere to all clinical and safety protocols, maintaining confidentiality and patient privacy.
