Job Purpose
Provides support to all employees and members for all E-Commerce services in accordance with the Credit Unions established policies, procedures, and core values. To achieve the objectives of the Credit Union, these responsibilities shall be executed promptly, courteously, and accurately.
Functions
Responsible for member marketing of the Credit Union and to maintain knowledge of all services offered to support the Credit Unions Vision and Core Values. Responsible for providing backup for all daily ACH and Wire electronic functions. Responsible for management of EFT distribution records in Symitar with high accuracy, ensuring timely reconciliation and management of anomalies. Responsible for Contact Event Management. Responsible for providing support for member service directed telephone inquiries. Assist with maintaining member share draft accounts, including recommendations for closure, resolving encoding errors, and reporting to ChexSystems as needed. Responsible for maintaining familiarity, compliance and proficiency with all policies and procedures, as well as regulations and association / vendor rules pertinent to job responsibilities. Actively contribute to the success of the Credit Union by working positively within the department and with co-workers. Crosstrain and perform the duties of other E-Commerce staff as needed. Assist the E-Commerce Supervisor with supervision of the E-Commerce department. Will oversee the E-Commerce staff for accuracy and timeliness of duties, which currently include : E-Commerce Specialist Item Processing Specialist E-Commerce Representative X2 Settlement Services Specialist Actively set and meet goals for the department with accountability, professional growth, and operational excellence through mentorship. Ability to actively develop and execute a forward-looking roadmap aligned with the Credit Unions vision, ensuring innovation across ACH, Wire, and EFT. Lead and enforce best practices in procedures, documentation, audits, and compliance training. Perform other duties as assigned.
Prerequisites For The Position
Minimum Education : High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum Experience : Three to five years related experience and a strong background in the financial services industry is required. Prior experience with MVFCU may be considered in lieu of a portion of the above experience. Experience with ATMs, balancing, servicing, general troubleshooting, and leading a team is highly desirable. Technical Skills : Proficient in use of computer software programs including Fedline Advantage, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows required. Experience with JHA Card Connect or similar type internet-based programs is required. Extensive knowledge of the Symitar Episys software is required. Knowledge base and NCP, CISP and AAP certifications may be required within 30 months. Strong balancing and analytical skills required.
