This role is suitable for a Senior Structural Engineer with significant experience in OHL structural design who is eager to develop their team leadership skills. The Wood Transmission and Distribution team provides HV OHL design supporting construction, procurement, and consultancy on various projects. Training is planned to ensure understanding of local design requirements. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with resources based in the UK, India, and a new US team in Central Florida to support international clients.

The Role

The Sr Structural Design Engineer will oversee the structural assessment and design of Transmission Towers, ensuring delivery against project timelines and budgets. The role includes identifying and implementing team improvements and staff development.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

We welcome candidates with some or all of the following :

Preferred qualifications include experience with 400kV transmission towers, PLS Tower software, and involvement in OHL construction planning.
