Job description
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Mark and label containers, container tags, or products
- Measure, weigh and count products/materials
- Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met
- Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms
- Remove completed or defective products or materials
- Seal containers or materials, using glues, fasteners and hand tools
- Load materials and products into package processing equipment
- Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools
- Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Good communication, organizational, time management and basic mathematical skills
- Dependable and reliable
- Able to read basic directions
- Basic computer skills
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
