Summary : The Inpatient Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting specimens—including blood, urine, and cultures—from patients in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. This role ensures specimen integrity and patient safety by following standard operating procedures for identification, collection, labeling, processing, and handling. The Phlebotomist maintains a customer-focused approach and may perform draws in inpatient units, outpatient facilities, or nursing home settings.
