Job descriptionLocum need is for equivalent of 4 FTE - urgent need as SMD is leaving at end of May and there will only be 2 FTEs remaining Locum providers must be flexible to work days, nights and weekends Main hospital campus may consider less than 12hr shifts, affiliated FSED's require 12hr shifts Will consider FM or IM trained with EM experience. Needs ATLS, ACLs, PALS Experience Level All ok if boarded What are the shift Times (physician only) 7a-5p, 1p-11p, 9p-7a or 7p-7a, 7a-7p Is Call involved No What procedures are required All standard ER procedures What does the support staff include No peds, no plastics, no neuro IR, NO cath lab, NO OB What is the average patient census 81 What are the most common cases Higher population of Level 4 and 5 patients. Do get sick patients which require intubation, central lines (have an ICU). Annual ER admissions 12%
