The annual salary range for this role is $141,000-$157,000 in San Francisco.

As part of the Business Engagement Group, the Partner Development team is responsible for establishing new partnerships with corporations based in North America from various industries.
Reporting lines and interactions :
The Partner Development Lead will report to the Head of Partner Development team - North America.
Internally, this person will work with colleagues from various Industries and externally with a broad range of stakeholders.
Main responsibility :
- Sales & business development : develop the Forum's partnership community in various industries, by researching, analyzing, and understanding the priorities of potential partners, reaching out to prospects, shaping compelling value propositions, leading engagement discussions, and closing contracts / sales.
The successful candidate will be assessed on :
Effectively developing own business development pipeline of potential partner target companiesAchieving sales targets through management of the full cycle partner business development processAbility to understand company strategic priorities and identify the relevant value propositionAbility to actively reach out to companies within North America to develop long-term, trusted partnershipsPreparing strategic engagement plans and value propositions for industry leadersSuccessfully building trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and thereby leveraging their networks, expertise, and community member relationships along the partner sales development cyclePreferred requirements and experience :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or other relevant field.6+ years of professional experience, ideally including experience in a business development / sales, consulting, account management or strategic marketing role.Prior work experience with industry leaders at a senior executive level.Proficiency in analysing complex industry issues using the most relevant business intelligence.High-level analytical and organizational skills with intellectual rigour and flawless execution.Excellent listening skills, professional judgement and ability to adapt partner engagement approaches as needed.Agile team player who enjoys working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, and rapidly evolving environment.Willingness to travel around 20%.Why work at the Forum :
