Senior Care Therapy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team. This position involves providing top-tier therapeutic support to the elderly population within skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of aging individuals through dedicated, specialized psychological care. Our goal is to support our clients in achieving better mental health and overall well-being in their later stages of life. Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the psychological needs of the elderly. Develop and implement tailored therapy plans for individuals and groups, focusing on maintaining and improving patient quality of life. Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate mental health services with other health care plans. Provide counseling support to families to help them understand and support the psychological needs of their elderly relatives. Document and maintain accurate records of patient therapy sessions and progress. Engage in continuous education to stay informed about new therapies and approaches suitable for the geriatric population. Expertise in therapeutic techniques and modalities relevant to marriage, family, and elderly care. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience with electronic health records and teletherapy platforms.
