Position Overview :

We’re seeking a Driver to safely operate commercial vehicles and deliver materials between company and customer locations. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, reliable, and customer-focused.

Reports to : Transportation Manager

Works with : Dispatchers and Logistics Team

Key Responsibilities :

• Safely pick up, transport, and deliver freight between customer and company sites.
• Represent USM professionally as the primary contact with customers and the public.
• Load, unload, drop, hook, and weigh materials as needed.
• Complete all required documentation (manifests, bills of lading, trip sheets, logs, etc.) accurately.
• Communicate clearly and courteously with Dispatch, team members, and customers.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Comply with all DOT, state, and local safety regulations.
• Work flexible hours and meet delivery deadlines.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50+ lbs., climbing, and manually tarping loads.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and training expectations.
