Cognizant is seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Field Marketing to lead integrated marketing efforts for our Retail & Consumer business across North America. This role is critical in shaping and executing high-impact marketing programs that drive demand, accelerate pipeline growth, and elevate Cognizant's brand presence in the market.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in enterprise marketing within the Retail and CPG sectors, a strong command of field engagement strategies, and a passion for leveraging data, technology, and emerging trends, especially AI, to deliver measurable business outcomes. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on execution, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration, team development, and customer-centric innovation.

Strategic Planning & Execution

Develop and execute integrated B2B marketing plans aligned with sales goals and vertical priorities

Own budget, performance tracking, and ROI analysis across campaigns and programs

Lead and mentor a team of field marketers while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability

Content & Campaigns

Build content strategies tailored to Retail & CPG audiencesthought leadership, case studies, solution briefs, and digital assets

Optimize content across channels : events, email, web, and social

Leverage tools like Pardot, 6sense, and Salesforce to drive ABM and nurture programs

Event Marketing

Lead planning and execution of key industry events such as NRF, executive roundtables, customer forums, and partner activations

Ensure events align with brand and business goals, analyze event performance and apply insights to future strategy

Field Alignment & Collaboration

Partner with sales to identify growth opportunities and deliver localized campaigns

Collaborate with global marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure message consistency

Act as the voice of the field, sharing insights to shape broader marketing initiatives

Performance Optimization

Monitor campaign and event metrics to improve conversion and engagement

Report on KPIs including lead generation, pipeline contribution, and sales enablement

Qualifications

10+ years of B2B marketing experience, with expertise in field marketing, content strategy, and event execution

5+ years in enterprise marketing within the Retail & CPG sectors

Experience leading high-performing teams and managing cross-functional initiatives

Proficiency with ABM platforms (e.g., 6sense), CRM (Salesforce), and marketing automation (Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua)

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills

Curiosity and foundational understanding of AI and its role in marketing innovation

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment

Work Model

Salary and Other Compensation : Applications will be accepted until September 28, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $135,000 - $150,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
