Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a PA or compact license and multiple advanced certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
  • Rotating 12-hour shifts including days and nights : 7 : 00am-7 : 30pm, 11 : 00am-11 : 30pm, and 7 : 00pm-7 : 30am
  • Rotating shift patterns typically change every 4-6 weeks
  • Every other weekend is required
  • No floating to other units is required
  • Utilizes the Cerner EMR system
  • Must complete fingerprint registration and Childline process promptly after contract signing
  • Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of signing the contract
  • Detailed compliance instructions will be provided by the credentialing team

  • Active RN license in PA or a compact state required
  • Current certifications required : BLS / CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale
  • Trauma experience preferred
  • Completion of PA fingerprinting and Childline background checks required for consideration
  • Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
