Exciting Opportunity for a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in Belmont, NC

Join a dynamic team at a brand new, 10-bed LDRP Level-I Nursery set to open in late 2024 at a leading medical center in Belmont, NC. As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to newborns in a facility that has been recognized among the top 100 hospitals by Thomson Reuters. Located just 15 miles from uptown Charlotte, this position offers a unique blend of professional challenge and lifestyle advantages.

Job Responsibilities :

• Conduct daily rounding on newborns in-house and provide on-call support from home.
• Attend deliveries as needed and provide immediate care to newborns.
• Stabilize and manage newborns requiring higher-level care, facilitating transport to adjacent NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia.
• Work as part of a team consisting of 4 NNPs with support from a Level III NICU staffed by neonatologists and additional NNPs.
• Engage in continuing education and possible supplemental shifts at the Level III NICU as desired.
