As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence within a logistics and distribution environment. You will be responsible for monitoring assigned areas, assisting with access control, and delivering outstanding customer service to all individuals onsite. What You'll Do :

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and along its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity and / or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and / or irregularities as required by the site.
• Interact professionally with personnel, visitors, and contractors to provide guidance and assistance as needed.
• Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal management and site supervisors.

Minimum Requirements :

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
