Job Title : Travel Certified Surgical Technologist – Operating Room (Day Shift) Location : Marquette General Hospital, Marquette, MI Schedule : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM (12-hour shifts) Assignment Type : Travel Contract

Overview : Marquette General Hospital is seeking a skilled and reliable Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join its Operating Room team for a travel assignment. This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity surgical environment within a leading regional medical center.

Responsibilities :

Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures by setting up instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies

Assist surgeons and RNs during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field

Monitor and maintain aseptic technique throughout surgical procedures

Ensure proper handling and disposal of surgical specimens

Perform post-operative clean-up and equipment sterilization

Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency

Qualifications :

Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA or equivalent

Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an acute care OR setting

Experience in neurosurgery and orthopedic procedures is required

BLS certification (required)

Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
