The Sr Financial Analyst plays an important role by performing a variety of professional activities directly related to the organization's Mortgage and Finance operations. The role is responsible for high-level business reporting and analysis that helps the management team make appropriate financial business decisions. The Sr Financial Analyst is recognized by peers as the "go to" subject matter expert and may answer questions from lower-level Financial Analysts in absence of the manager.

This role is an exempt position with a Targeted Salary Range of $77,000 to $115,000 annually. Compensation at Guild is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to local and federal minimum wage requirements, education, level of experience, and applicant's geographical location.

Essential Functions :

• Field / Organizational Support : Works with internal stakeholders, report requestors, and management to solidify requirements.
• Field Support : Pro actively support financial management, production and operational Anticipate needs in the organization.
• Analysis : Identify, analyze, interpret, and communicate trends or patterns in complex datasets.
• Ad hoc reporting : Lead communication efforts by compiling and summarizing data.
• Existing reporting : Maintain financial models / dashboards and reporting packages.
• Data : Ensures data is accurate, consistent and reliable in all reporting created and used.
• Data : Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize data quality and efficiency.
• Team Support : Support in development of Financial Analysts through review and training.
• Team Support : Crosstrain in the duties of other Financial Analysts and provide back-up coverage in their absence.
• Productivity : Work to increase productivity by identifying inefficiencies and providing recommendations for system and process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
