Responsibilities
Automotive Technician :
- Perform basic vehicle diagnostics and identify required repairs
- Complete Monro's Courtesy Inspection process on every customer vehicle
- Assist in inventory management and general store duties
- Perform services in accordance with Monro's safety standards and procedures
- Test drive vehicles following company policy and local traffic laws
- Maintain technical knowledge through required Monro University training
- Operate and maintain equipment safely according to manufacturer guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Salary : $16.00 - $18.00 per hour based on experience; $25 - $35 flat rate based on experience
General Service Technician :
Full-time or part-time hourly position based on business needsPerform basic routine vehicle repair and maintenance services per company standards and manufacturer specificationsDeliver exceptional 5-star service through effective communication of vehicle issues and proposed solutionsEnsure guest expectations for time and quality are consistently metSalary : $15.00 - $17.00 per hour based on experience; additional incentives may apply
Qualifications
Automotive Assistant Manager
High school or GED equivalent2+ years of automotive and sales experienceValid Driver LicenseAbility to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods, and lift 50 lbsExcellent communication skills and basic algebra to calculate figuresGuest and team focused mindsetAutomotive Technician
High School Diploma or equivalentAutomotive training including basic car maintenance and repair or equivalent combinationASE certification and State Inspection license (where applicable) preferredCurrent valid driver's license with satisfactory MVR and ability to operate customer vehicles for test drivesOwn a basic set of tools or participate in Monro's tool purchase programGeneral Service Technician
