We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team in Boynton Beach. This role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing project-related accounting tasks, and maintaining compliance with revenue recognition standards. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in manufacturing or project-based accounting environments and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and post journal entries to support a timely and accurate month-end closing process.
• Perform reconciliations for accounts such as bank accounts, balance sheets, and inventory items.
• Monitor and manage project accounting by tracking costs, including labor, materials, and time, to ensure profitability.
• Apply revenue recognition principles and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
• Assist in generating financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and project cost analyses.
• Maintain accurate records using NetSuite or similar systems while contributing to process improvements.
• Collaborate with project managers, operations teams, and procurement staff to ensure data accuracy and alignment.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or project-based environments.
• Proficiency in using NetSuite or similar accounting software is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles, including ASC 606.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reconciliation.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Familiarity with audit preparation and providing documentation to support financial reviews.
