Pay : $2,065 / week

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a long-term care / skilled nursing facility (LTC / SNF) in Lewiston, MO on a 13-week travel assignment. The Occupational Therapist will provide patient-centered rehabilitative services to help residents maximize independence in daily living and maintain quality of life in a supportive care environment. The ideal candidate has prior LTC / SNF experience and a strong commitment to serving geriatric populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess residents’ functional and cognitive abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to long-term care needs.
• Provide interventions such as ADL retraining, strength and mobility programs, and adaptive equipment training.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and safe practices.
• Document evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress notes accurately in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physical therapy, speech therapy, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Support resident independence, mobility, and wellness through evidence-based OT practices.
