Competitive salary commensurate with experience100% Company-paid Health Benefits401(k) Savings and Investment PlanCompany VehicleTuition reimbursement programs available to qualifying employees for approved programsAdditional training programs including on the job, online through H&K Academy, manufacturer offered training, and moreResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities Perform all work adhering to OSHA / MSHA and H&K Safety policiesReviews job order and observes and listens to equipment in operation to determine malfunction and to plan work proceduresIdentify parts for repairs or replacement for all systems on equipment when neededExamines protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on equipment, and makes adjustmentsDismantles machine or equipment to examine parts for defect or to remove defective partReplaces defective part with new part or repairs or reproduces part from various kinds of metalAssembles and test operates machine to verify correction of malfunction and to confirm that it meets manufactures specificationsOverhauls gas or diesel enginesPerforms diagnostics thru the use of computersSupports additional shop work including vehicle maintenance and repairOther duties as assignedQualificationsRequired Skills, Education, and ExperienceOne year certificate from an accredited college or technical school in a related field OR 2 years of related experience and / or trainingEquivalent combinations of education and experience may be consideredValid driver’s licenseClean driving recordComputer skills including data entry, inventory, programing, MS Office (Outlook, Excel)Verbal and written communication skillsAbility to use mechanics hand toolsAbility to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as neededAbility to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
