ICU RN Travel Job Details

Location : Seaside, Oregon (97138) – Renowned for its beautiful beaches, lively boardwalk, and welcoming healthcare community.

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2010 - $2160

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 24 / 2025 – End : 2 / 23 / 2026)

Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 – 07 : 00)

Hours per Week : 36

Facility Type : Critical Access Hospital, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – 4 beds, adult / geriatric patient population

Charting System : Epic

Floating : Required within scope (may float to Medical / Surgical, Emergency Department, or nearby sister facilities)

Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend required

Transportation : Reliable vehicle required for assignment

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Oregon RN license, compact RN license, or pending Oregon nursing license

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience

Current certifications : BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS

Proficiency with Epic electronic health record (EHR) system

Strong clinical skills in ventilator management, arterial / central line care, titration of cardiac / vasoactive drips, blood product administration, dysrhythmia interpretation, and infection prevention

Ability to float to Med / Surg, ED, or other units as needed

Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years

ICU RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill adult and geriatric patients in a 4-bed ICU setting

Monitor, assess, and document patient status using Epic EHR

Administer medications, manage ventilators, and titrate drips per hospital protocols

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services

Float to Medical / Surgical, Emergency Department, or sister facilities as required

Adhere to infection prevention, isolation, and patient safety protocols

Participate in rapid response and emergency situations

Provide patient and family education and support throughout the care process
