Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for day shifts with inpatient experience and Colorado licensure for a rehabilitation therapy role.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in rehabilitation therapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Settings include inpatient, outpatient, and home health environments
  • General schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.
  • Work in a modern, well-equipped rehabilitation gymnasium
  • Assist the physical therapist in treating patients of all ages with various health conditions
  • Implement and modify components of patient treatment interventions as directed
  • Reports directly to the Rehabilitation Manager
  • Requires strong communication skills with patients, staff, and the public
  • Position involves technical procedures and operating therapy equipment
  • Clean, climate-controlled work environment
  • Bilingual capabilities are helpful

  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current Colorado PTA credential from the Department of Regulatory Agencies
  • Verification card of current instruction in BLS
  • Minimum of 2 years of PTA experience required
  • Must have inpatient experience
  • Outpatient experience preferred
  • License required if applicable
