Senior Cloud Consultant

ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Cloud Consultant , to join our team in Hanover, MD . The team delivers enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global workforce performing a wide range of missions in defense of our Nation. This effort is the contract vehicle for the Enterprise Infrastructure Services organization overseeing MPO’s Enterprise Information Technology (EIT). EIT is MPO’s backbone- platform for all Enterprise users. Data Center & Compute Services is the EIS enabling organization working with customers, Integrated Product Teams (IPT), and vendors to deliver select EIT.

Responsibilities Included but are not limited to :

Responsible for leading technical exchange meetings and advise customers on path for transition / transformation to the cloud.

Will perform Analysis-of-Alternatives for architecting / implementing the customer's application in the cloud

Responsible for creating well-informed cloud architecture and migration strategies for various application use-cases while developing and documenting cloud "best practices".

Will provide cloud guidance and recommendations on cloud services to meet specific needs and will document cloud training opportunities and material.

Minimum Qualifications :

Associates degree with Fifteen (15) years' experience of relevant experience OR Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree with Twelve (12) years of relevant experience

Experience with managing project work as defined by the government.

Experience with leading medium to large complex projects and major phases of very large projects while providing highly technical and specialized guidance and solutions to complex IT problems.

CompTIA Security+ or similar certification for IAT Level II DoD 8570 compliance

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with AWS cloud services, including an AWS VPC, routing tables, IGW and NAT, public and private subnets

Experience with cloud architecture and migration plan.

Experience designing and implementing Cloud architectures that meet requirements for security, high availability, fault tolerance, cost-efficiency and scalability

Experience consulting and advising customers projects / product teams with regards to architecting cloud-based environments for applications and migrating to the cloud from legacy environments.

Clearance Requirements :

Must have a current / active TS / SCI w / Polygraph.

Physical Requirements :

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
