Technical Services Manager
Kelly, in partnership with a rapidly growing chemical manufacturer, is looking for a Technical Services Manager to oversee Millwrights, E&I Technicians and a Maintenance Planner in Georgetown, SC! This is a direct hire opportunity with our client, meaning you will be hired with them permanently and offered their benefit, vacation and compensation package upon hire. Benefits include : health, dental and vision insurance, 401k plus a 50% match up to 6%, relocation package offered, and three weeks of vacation, two days of PTO and nine paid holidays. Details include a 1st shift role with flexible start time available, 15% bonus potential, and compensation of $130,000 - $140,000, potentially higher based on experience.
In this strategic, leadership-level role, you will oversee the Technical Services Department and ensure operational reliability across the facility. Key responsibilities include : leading and optimizing preventive, predictive, and precision maintenance programs, overseeing reliability initiatives, maintenance execution, and asset integrity programs, tracking and reporting on maintenance KPIs to drive continuous improvement, conducting root cause analyses on recurring equipment issues and implementing corrective actions, partnering with Production, Engineering, Procurement, and Safety to support equipment uptime, managing CMMS performance, spare parts optimization, planning and scheduling workflows, supporting capital project development and technical reviews, maintaining compliance with OSHA, API, ASME, ISO, and other applicable regulatory standards, and leading and mentoring reliability, mechanical, and E&I personnel.
Requirements include 7+ years of experience as a Maintenance Manager, or similar title, chemical manufacturing experience, experience with rotating equipment, a bachelors degree preferred but not required, experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning, ability to jump in and troubleshoot issues required when needed, strong analytical experience, ability to interpret technical documents, manuals and regulatory guidelines, and ability to maintain compliance with OSHA, API, ASME, ISO, and other applicable regulatory standards.
