Job Description & Requirements Specialty : MRI Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 12 / 12 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Experience Required : 2-3 Years of experience as MRI Tech Certification & Licensure ARRT certification in Radiography required ARRT registry in Magnetic Resonance required CNMT or ARDMS registry may substitute for ARRT Radiography if candidate holds ARRT in MRI Ohio Radiologic License preferred CPR certification required Schedule 36 hours per week / 3×12s Rotating schedule every 4th weekend Responsibilities Perform high-quality MRI imaging procedures according to departmental standards. Assist licensed independent practitioners with radiographic procedures as needed. Prepare, administer, and document contrast media and medications per state, federal, and facility policies. Educate patients and parents on imaging procedures and MRI safety guidelines. Ensure patient comfort and provide compassionate, respectful care. Support smooth patient flow and collaborate with other clinical departments. Participate in required on-call coverage. Maintain current CPR certification and ARRT registration. Assist in training student technologists during clinical rotations.
