LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Vero Beach, Florida.

Requirements :

Experience : Minimum 18 months ICU experience required , 2 years preferred. Must have experience with cardiac and neuro patients as ICU is mixed.

Certifications : AHA BLS & ACLS (required at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)

First-timers : Accepted

RTO : All RTO must be included at time of submission. Any additions later may not be approved.

Locals : Accepted; same rate applies

Pending License : Not accepted

Block Schedule : Not accommodated

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hrs for 3x12’s, 40 hrs for 8 / 10’s

Facility Guidelines :

COVID-19 Vaccine : Required (Medical / Religious exemptions only)

Flu Vaccine : Required (Medical / Religious exemptions only)

Smoke-Free Facility : All travelers must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel + nicotine (cotinine) DS required

Charting : EPIC (experience level 3 or 4 required; time-sensitive modules must be prioritized)

Skills Required :

Respiratory / Thoracic :

Assist with management of BiPAP & CPAP

Suctioning (ETT, NT)

Care of ventilated patients

Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)

IV Therapy :

Arterial line management

Central line care / management

Cardiac Monitoring & Emergency Response :

Interpretation of dysrhythmias

Management of dysrhythmias

Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction / failure

Cardiovascular :

Pulmonary Artery Line / Swan-Ganz monitoring

Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump

Post-cardiac surgery care (not directly from OR)

Medications :

Titrate cardiac drips

Titrate vasoactive drips

Continuous IV sedation

Professional Topics / Skills :

Isolation precautions / proper use of PPE
