Epic Manager

Manager, EHR Clinical Applications are responsible for oversight of multiple application teams / analysts. They must be very knowledgeable about the organization's policies, procedures, and business operations and coordinate all issues that arise during installation, maintenance, trouble-shooting, and upgrading for their application areas.

Essential Functions :

• Serves as primary point person for IT manager / Director for associated application teams
• Provides resource allocation / assignment delegation to analyst staff
• Collaborates with IS&T and operational leadership to drive priorities and escalate / resolve barriers and issues
• Manages analyst staff (Scheduling, Performance Assessment)
• Partners with other application teams to drive system integration and efficiencies
• Develops / documents procedures for implementing system changes and other tasks
• Serves as a liaison between end users, third parties, and vendors
• Troubleshoots problems and questions from end users
• Analysis of application content and negotiation of any user requested modifications
• Prepares details of specifications as needed
• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson

Other Functions and Competencies :

Educational / Training Requirements :

Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registration :

Relevant application certification(s) preferred.

Experience Requirements :

4 + years work experience in healthcare, information systems, or healthcare IT.
