Position Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer III is a highly experienced role responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing manufacturing processes, procedures, and equipment in one or more facilities. Oversees and optimizes electromechanical plating for Parker products, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and develops advanced manufacturing techniques to optimize efficiency, quality, cost, and safety. May also manage large capital projects. This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Process owner of electroplating : interpret chemical analysis, troubleshoot defects, develop SOPs, and support operators.
• Process owner of ECM and Final Hone Machining : monitor performance, train operators.
• Process improvement : lead initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiency, safety, and cost.
• Assist with plant fabrication / machining processes as backup support.
• Ensure regulatory compliance of processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with mechanics to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
