Discounts at participating local restaurants and businesses Attend and evaluate player try-outs Schedule practice times and locations Teach skills and strategies of the game to players of all ages and skill levels Research and demonstrate the newest volleyball related drills Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations Provide direction, encouragement and motivation for athletes Set game day line-ups and make necessary in-game coaching moves All other duties as assigned PA Child Abuse Clearance and FBI Fingerprint Criminal History Clearance : Must be dated within the past 5 years and specifically for employment (not volunteer). Previous volleyball coaching experience and / or collegiate playing experience required Minimum 1 year coaching experience Must be 21 years of age or older to head coach. Dependable transportation to and from practices and tournaments. Language skills : Fluent knowledge of the English language; including the ability to read and interpret written information and speak and understand verbal communication Ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the position with any reasonable accommodations as necessary Availability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and / or holidays as needed Authorized to work in the United States Experience working with athletes of varying age groups Highly dependable with a history of consistent attendance and punctuality Guest-focused / service-oriented; ability to see big picture and impact on Company. Supports Company mission as serves as an advocate for its products and services Demonstrates a positive and friendly attitude towards parents, players, competitors, and fellow employees. The team member will be frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. He or she is required to have the visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned. Must be physically capable of demonstrating skills during practice that relate to the sport, such as running and jumping. Lifting requirements : The team member will be required to lift, push, pull, lower and / or move up to 10 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 25 lbs. Noise Level : The noise level in this environment is typically moderate to loud.

Our Nook Volleyball Academy is looking for qualified volleyball coaches for the travel volleyball season. Spooky Nook Volleyball provides elite and showcase travel volleyball teams for ages 12U through 18U.
NOTE : Because this position will involve routine interaction with children, all candidates must successfully obtain the following clearances PRIOR to beginning employment :
- PA State Police criminal history record,
- PA Child Abuse Clearance, and
- FBI Fingerprint-based criminal history clearance.

We recommend obtaining these as soon as possible to ensure your employment can begin promptly, as results may take up to 4 weeks to arrive. You must possess the “Employment” versions of each clearance and not the “Volunteer” versions.
