Job Summary : Our innovative Mobile Crisis Response Team at DLC rapidly responds 24 / 7 to requests for crisis interventions in the community. Referral sources include health care providers, family members, self-referral, law enforcement, and other community members.
This is a fast-paced environment where Clinicians work collaboratively with Psychiatrists, Nurses, and MRT Client Care Specialists to meet the needs of Clients and families via a multi-disciplinary team approach.
Key Responsibilities :
- Responding to crisis situations, conducting risk assessments, triage duties and completing safety planning with individuals in crisis.
- Performing a range of clinical services related to the assessment / care / treatment of individuals experiencing crises, in the school, home, and community.
- Local travel including to / from :
~ Multiple service sites, to the homes, or residences or persons served, and within the community.
~ Homes and residences
~ Additional community locations
Providing comprehensive crisis intervention counseling services.Connecting individuals who need a more intensive level of Mental Health / Substance Use Disorder services to the appropriate resources within DLC and the community.Other duties as assigned by the ESAC / MRT Clinical SupervisorQualifications :
Master's Degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Health Care Administration or related field = RequiredAt least 2 years of experience in related environment (mental health, group homes, prison, detention centers, etc.) = RequiredCurrent and clear Florida Driver's License = RequiredDemonstrated expertise in the following = Required~ Working with and relating to a diversity of diverse cultural / social / economic backgrounds
~ Program implementation skills
~ Competency in age-related or specialty issues / developmental needs
~ Assessment, diagnosis and treatment regarding severe and persistent mental illness and substance use disorders
