Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a General Fabricator for our client. This job involves operating small machines such as PEM Insertion Machines, Spot Welders, Metal Rollers, Drill Presses, and Belt Grinders. You’ll use hand and power tools to assemble products, deburr and blend welds, and ensure all work meets quality standards and production goals while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.What’s a Typical Day Like?Operate various small machines : PEM Insertion Machine, Spot Welder, Metal Roller, Drill Press / Tap / Countersink, Belt GrindersOperate and use various hand and power tools to assemble productsUtilize various pneumatic and electric grinders for deburring and weld blendingMeet and maintain daily production rates and goals as established and required by company.Read and follow standard work instructions.Measures work, using rule, gauges, calipers, and templatesRead and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and customer documentations.Keep supervisory staff informed of all activity including but not limited to information related to quality, parts supply and safety issues that may occur within the scope of responsibility.Complete all required activities and documentation for assigned work as requested by supervisor.Always adhere to safety procedures.Keep workstation clean, orderly, and free of safety hazards always.What Are the Requirements of the Job?Previous experience of 2 years or more in hands on manufacturing with metal fabrication or woodworking.Mechanically inclinedGeneral shop math skillsAbility to understand and follow standard work instructions.Familiarity with blueprints and technical drawingsLicensures and Certifications : NoneHigh School graduate or equivalent.Ability to work in fast-paced environment.Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.Ability to utilize hand / eye coordination.Capability to stand for prolonged periods of timeCommunication skills.Why Choose Kable Workforce Solutions?Weekly PayExclusive Access Opportunities to V.I.P.
