About The Position
Seeking a full-time Inpatient Neurologist to join its robust hospital-based neurology team in Albany, NY, a 400-bed Primary Stroke Center. This is a unique and flexible opportunity to work in a mission-driven, physician-led organization with no outpatient responsibilities, offering a work-life balance rarely found in inpatient neurology roles.
Job Description :
- Provide inpatient neurological care with no outpatient or clinic responsibilities
- Participate in a flexible work schedule : 7 on / 7 off or 14 on / 14 off
- Manage a broad spectrum of neurological conditions including :
- Stroke
- Epilepsy
- Back pain
- Brain tumors
- Dementia
- Neuropathies
- Movement disorders
- Work closely with an integrated network of general and specialty neurologists for seamless patient referral and follow-up
- Serve in a Primary Stroke Center-designated facility
- Collaborate within a physician-led team that prioritizes quality, compassionate, and team-based care
- Utilize hospital support staff including neurodiagnostic services and subspecialist consultation
