Your Impact as Vice President of Data Engineering

In this critical executive role, you will lead the way in developing and evolving our enterprise data ecosystem. You will ensure that our data platforms and pipelines are cutting-edge, secure, and cost-effective, enabling innovative analytics and artificial intelligence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a visionary data engineering strategy aligned with our business objectives and digital transformation goals.

Oversee the design and operation of advanced cloud-native data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP).

Drive excellence in engineering practices for data pipelines, APIs, real-time streaming, and data integration.

Optimize platform performance for security, scalability, and financial efficiency.

Governance and Quality Assurance

Collaborate with governance teams to maintain high data quality standards, compliance, and transparency.

Equip teams with the tools and frameworks necessary for impactful analytics and AI / ML development.

Partner with leaders across the organization to identify valuable data opportunities and expedite realization of business value.

Building Business Partnerships

Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, ensuring our data engineering initiatives deliver measurable results.

Communicate the value and performance of our platforms to stakeholders, linking technology deliverables to business strategies.

Promote the adoption of data platforms across various departments, including R&D, finance, and customer service.

Leadership and Talent Development

Inspire and lead a global team of data engineers and architects, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.

Create pathways for professional growth and skill development to enhance our engineering capabilities.

Champion diversity and inclusion within our technology leadership and talent development.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in data engineering, with 7+ years in senior leadership roles.

Proven experience in scaling enterprise data platforms in global, cloud environments.

Expertise in building data pipelines and real-time architectures.

Strong knowledge of data governance and compliance within complex regulatory frameworks.

Excellent leadership skills, adept at developing high-performing, diverse teams.

Proficient in engaging with C-suite executives and translating technology into business outcomes.
