Job descriptionPrevious experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of medication administration procedures and vital sign monitoring is essential. Certification in CPR is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to DODD regulations at all times. Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including evenings or weekends if required. Mileage reimbursement Paid orientation Paid time off Paid training Safety equipment provided Valid High School Diploma or GED Valid Drivers License Less than 6 points on your Drivers License Valid vehicle insurance Personal, reliable vehicle that you're willing and able to use to transport individuals served. Eligible to work in the US. Must be able to pass a Background Check Must pass the 7 Database Checks 10 hour shift 12 hour shift Evening shift Every weekend Holidays Monday to Friday Overtime Rotating weekends Weekends as needed Weekends only

Salary : $16 hourly
New Day My Way, LLC is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist our residential individuals, with developmental disabilities, in leading independent and integrated lives by providing support with daily living activities, promoting community inclusion, and advocating for their rights.
Job duties include but are not limited to :
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring accurate documentation in compliance with DODD regulations.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation, particularly for those with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Conduct patient observation to identify any changes in behavior or health status, reporting findings to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to all safety protocols within residential settings.
