ICU RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA required

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred

Strong clinical skills in critical care nursing

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced ICU environment

Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress

Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
