Providing 24-hour hospital-based call coverage, including weekends, as scheduled. The physician must be physically present in the hospital for the duration of the call to respond promptly to emergencies and rounding needs.

Performing a wide range of interventional cardiac procedures, including urgent / emergent cardiac catheterizations and other PCI-related interventions, as clinically indicated during call shifts.

Managing general cardiology patients who may present through the ED, require inpatient consultation, or need follow-up during hospital rounds. The provider should be confident in handling common cardiac conditions such as CHF, arrhythmias, acute coronary syndromes, and post-PCI care.
