Warehouse Associate
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the finishing, final inspection, and preparation for shipping of parts according to work instructions.
Responsibilities include utilizing the Plex system to ensure product and procedure accuracy, removing slag using an air gun and mallet, steam cleaning pieces to ensure they are free from dirt and chips, dipping parts in rust remover and oiling them prior to packaging, conducting final inspection of parts, banding workpieces and preparing them for shipping, building pallets and packaging boxes for shipment, ensuring the accuracy and quality of products before shipment, printing and labeling boxes / containers, and reading blueprints to ensure products are completed accurately.
Essential Skills include strong attention to detail, ability to read and interpret blueprints, experience with inventory, picking, packing, production, finishing, assembly, and packaging, visual quality inspection of parts, and experience with final preparation and cleaning of products before shipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications include experience with larger products and attention to detail / shipping experience.

Work Environment The facility currently employs 120 people and is expanding rapidly to add three total shifts. The work environment is loud, dirty, and can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It consists of two separate buildings with larger areas of CNC machinery, weld booths, and racking systems. The company is actively working to upgrade the facility. Steel-toed boots are required. The first shift runs from 7 AM to 3 : 30 PM, Monday through Friday, with some overtime opportunities.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.40 - $17.40 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
