Licensed Veterinary Technician Opportunity At VCA Katonah Bedford Veterinary Center

VCA Katonah Bedford Veterinary Center, a hybrid specialty hospital, is excited to announce we are growing! To better support the pets and the people in our community we are adding to our Oncology team!

Are you someone who wants a challenge and the opportunity for growth? At VCA Katonah Bedford you will utilize your knowledge and cultivate new skills while collaborating with a team of like-minded professionals. We are currently hiring for a Licensed Veterinary Technician.

Potential Schedule : Full time (4) 10 hour shifts, holiday rotation

Compensation : $25 - $35 / hr based on skill set, experience, and licensure status (LVT, VTS). Plus Overnight Differential

Licensed Veterinary Technician Responsibilities :

• Procedural anesthesia monitoring
• Full technician skill utilization
• Collecting patient histories & physical exams
• Medication refills, and pet parent communication
• Proficient in medical calculations
• Venipuncture / IVC placement
• Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)
• Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
• Providing compassionate care for all patients
