Customer Service Representative

Job Title

Our customers are in industries like transportation, construction, marine, and retail. If you have experience working with this type of customer or want that experience this role may be a great fit.

You'll love coming to work every day if you get, want, and have the capacity to:

• Answer/transfer high volume telephone calls
• Maintain customer accounts
• Provide product and/or service information to customers; cross-sell
• Accurately order requested products
• Build and sustain relationships with customers
• Appropriately manage customer concerns and provide solutions when possible
• Receive payments by credit card for orders and invoice payments and notify appropriate parties

The best candidate will have the following qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent required
• Excellent telephone skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Additionally, while performing duties, the employee may be required to sit, stoop, lift up to 15 pounds, type, communicate effectively, manage conflict, work evenings and/or weekends, attend remote meetings, and travel.

In the performance of respective tasks and duties, the employee is expected to:

• Successfully perform quality work within deadlines with or without supervision
• Interact professionally and confidently with other employees, customers, and contacts
• Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments
• Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations
