Role Revit Designer

Location Southwest Minnesota

Salary / Compensation Up to $43 / hr, depending on experience.

Description Work with and complete general modeling utilizing REVIT.

Develop Production level drawings and Bill of Material (BOM) takeoffs for Residential and Commercial projects to support Production

Timely completion of documentation to support Production, and Engineering schedules

Help guide the allocation of Engineering resources to assure accurate and timely completion of product documentation

Maintain effective document control, including cloud-based document management and access, as per department standards

Assist in model coordination with external consultants, Architects, Engineers, and suppliers as needed

Participate in the development of departmental standards, templates, and modeling standards

Follow modeling standards, and department procedures to ensure consistency

General administration of document control process

Mentoring of junior level team members and / or interns to assure accurate consistent work

Provide support to the Production Floor as requested

Other duties as assigned by department leadership

Qualifications Residential and or light commercial experience required

Strong Structural (wood), Mechanical, Plumbing and or Electrical modeling experience highly desired

Strong REVIT skill required; REVIT Certification preferred

Advanced CAD and BIM skills will be an advantage

AGA CAD experience highly desired

Experience with off-site construction; Modular, penalizations, fenestration is highly desired
