Car Wash Attendant

Summary : Ensure safety of customers and employees and observe all safety rules. Assist all areas of Car Wash as required by supervisor, including cleaning, maintenance and promotional selling. Additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities :

• Must be able to observe and follow all safety procedures and precautions.
• Must be able to perform various maintenance and cleaning functions on the car wash and related equipment.
• Must be able to perform various maintenance and repairs including changing of paper in kiosk, adding soap to barrels and maintaining cleanliness in the absence of the manager.

Job Specifications (Qualifications) :

Education and / or Experience : High school diploma or general education degree (GED) (Exceptions may apply for high school students working part time and summer employment).

Language Skills : Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must be able to communicate, written and orally, effectively with customers and other employees.

Mathematical Skills : Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Computer Skills : N / A

Reasoning Ability : Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
