Job description

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Private Duty Nursing

Cincinnati Children’s is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses to provide one-on-one care for pediatric patients in their homes.

Starting Pay : $23.00 / hour (minimum)

Schedule Options : Full-time or part-time | Day and night shifts available

What You’ll Do

Deliver direct care to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults in a home care setting

Travel with patient to school and / or medical appointments as needed

Administer medications and treatments as ordered

Contribute to patient assessments and care planning

Monitor and report patient responses to interventions

Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care

Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and accreditation standards

Provide culturally sensitive care that respects each family’s background and needs

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Completion of a practical nursing (LPN) certificate or vocational nurse (LVN) program

Licensed Practical Nurse

Novice to competent in subject matter and skills

Home care experience preferred
