Bilingual Care Coordinator
The purpose of this position is to communicate with patients and provide administrative support for the practice. The Bilingual Care Coordinator assists both English and Spanish speaking patients / families in scheduling / rescheduling appointments, answering scheduling questions, as well as demographics and insurance information.
Job duties / responsibilities include :
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Managing the Provider's daily patient schedule
- Accurately completing the registration process
- Documenting management, patient referrals, prior authorizations, and validation of benefits
- Responsible for payment collection
- Opening and setting up the office for the day
- Maintaining the patient waiting area for cleanliness
- Enhancing the patient experience and upholding the mission, vision and values of the organization
- Willingness to participate in process improvement
- Other duties as assigned
Required qualifications include :

Previous customer service experienceElectronic Medical Records (EMR) experienceMedical terminologyThis position requires a full range of body motion with intermittent walking, lifting, bending, climbing, squatting, kneeling, twisting, sitting, and standing. The associate must be able to sit for 8 hours a day and be able to lift 50 pounds, and reach work above the shoulders. The individual must have good eye-hand coordination and fine finger dexterity to operate.
