Internal Medicine Locums - Maine, Outpatient Clinic - 4 Days a Week

Outpatient Internal Medicine locums opening in Portland, Maine; take over a retiring physician's patient panel this fall.

Highlights

  • 4-day workweeks, weekdays only
  • No call required
  • Coastal downtown location with walkable amenities

Practice Setting

  • Outpatient-only clinical setting
  • Adult and geriatric patients
  • Physician-led team with 2-3 NPs and full MA / admin support
  • Located in downtown Portland, steps from restaurants and the waterfront

    • Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, one day off per week (usually Tuesday or Thursday)
  • 8 : 30a-4 : 30p daily
  • 6-9 month locums assignment preferred

    • Cases and Procedures

  • 14-18 patients per day
  • Complex patients with a value-based care model
  • Minor in-office procedures : I&D, abscesses, etc.

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified Internal Medicine
  • Maine license required (IMLC LOQ accepted)

    • Travel Accommodations

  • All travel covered; airfare, lodging, rental car
  • Airbnb approved; 4WD vehicle encouraged in winter
