Henry Ford Medical Group is seeking to employee a Neurosurgeon to join the Henry Ford Hospital in Jackson.

Part of the Henry Ford Health Family (HFH -Detroit Area), this opportunity is in Jackson, Michigan, where we entered our 100th year May 2018. The partnership with Henry Ford Health is very exciting for Henry Ford Health - Jackson facility and our community.

Opportunity

• Hospital-employed Neurosurgery opportunity with high volume and APP support
• Level 2 Trauma Center
• Call 1 : 4 / 90% outpatient – 10% inpatient
• Case load Adult 90% / Peds 10% / 20-25 patients a day in clinic (Avg 5 new patients)
• OR block time, with state-of-the-art equipment and dedicated Neurosurgery OR team (2 days OR / 3 days clinic)
• Dedicated neuro-intensive care unit, stroke unit, and neurosurgical services on-site
• Procedures : Spine (C,T,L) Surgeries (Fusion / Decompression) Kyphoplasty, SCS Implant, Craniectomy / Plasty, Shunt Placement
• Potential -For teaching, academic appointment with Michigan State University

Community

Must be ABNS Board Certified in Neurosurgery -Open to new grads.
