Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opening full-time opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students across multiple school locations in Oroville, CA. This position offers a dynamic work environment providing vital speech and language support services within diverse educational settings.

Responsibilities include :

  • Delivering speech-language assistance to students in compliance with individualized education plans
  • Traveling itinerantly to Spring Valley School, Bangor Elementary School, and Berry Creek Elementary School to provide on-site services
  • Collaborating with Speech-Language Pathologists and educational staff to support student communication goals
  • Maintaining detailed documentation of student progress and session notes
  • Adhering to all relevant state regulations and professional standards

Qualifications :

  • Current and valid California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license is required
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school-based setting is preferred
  • Ability to manage caseloads across multiple locations with reliable transportation and flexibility to drive frequently
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to ensure effective therapy delivery and documentation
  • Location : Oroville, CA (onsite position covering multiple school sites within the area)
