Hematologist / Oncologist-Close to Columbus

Adena Health System is seeking a BE / BC Hematologist / Oncologist to join an established oncology practice in Washington Court House, Ohio.

• The selected physician will join an established practice of four Oncologists, two Radiation Oncologists and four oncology Nurse Practitioners and will have the luxury of providing care four days a week at the Fayette Cancer Center location.
• The highly productive practice has an established patient population which will allow for an easy transition to a productivity compensation model after two years of guaranteed compensation.
• Additionally, inpatient call is supported Monday through Friday by a Nurse Practitioner.
• Inpatient call is rotated every 9-10  weeks and supported Monday through Friday by a Nurse Practitioner.

The Fayette Cancer Center has a staff of dedicated caregivers including a nurse practitioner, nurse navigator, scribe and clerical staff.  A dedicated infusion suite (with oncology certified infusion nurses), laboratory services and telehealth services including genetic screening, social work and oncologic dietician guidance are available.  Site specific tumor boards are available and occur weekly for multidisciplinary discussion including : lung, breast, gastrointestinal and urology.

Adena Cancer Center is a member of NCI Community Oncology Research Program, and is accredited by the Commission on Cancer. The program is also actively pursuing ASCO QOPI certification in 2023.  Radiation oncology services are ACR accredited.
