Cash Applications Specialist
The Cash Management team is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cash Applications Specialist to join our accounts receivable division. This role involves applying cash received in the bank or customer accounts, ensuring accuracy in payment application, and supporting the team to achieve departmental goals.
Responsibilities :
- Participate in team efforts to achieve company and departmental goals.
- Research and resolve money on account issues.
- Accurately post incoming ACH / Wire / EFT checks and credit card payments to customer accounts.
- Perform daily bank reconciliation.
- Balance daily cash receipts and ensure accuracy of general ledger postings.
- Accurately reconcile bank receipts to daily cash postings.
- Identify accurate customer accounts for payment posting.
- Exercise signature authority and document financial transactions.
- Monitor, reconcile, and ensure transactions comply with contractual commitments, identifying risks.
- Ensure compliance with business commitments, company policies, laws, and regulations.
- Prioritize a wide range of complex issues and opportunities.
- Provide technical and operational guidance to peers, programs, and business units.
Essential Skills :
2 to 4 years of related work experience.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.Experience with Microsoft Excel using formulas, Vlookup, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets.Experience working on cross-functional teams and handling high transactional volume.SAP experience is required.Additional Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.Working knowledge of accounting theory.SAP S4Hanna experience is a plus.Job Type & Location :

Pay and Benefits :
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
