This is where you fit in : As the Sales Associate to answer the call; a team player who is dedicated to supporting our local Naval community, and operational successes on a day-to-day basis. Your work will make an impact and support how our organization serves the best customer our military patrons and their families. So, what does a typical day look like? What does it take to succeed? Proactively engages, connects, and listens to customers by asking questions to determine customers' needs. Directing customers to merchandise; informing them about upcoming events, promotions, mobile offers, STAR card promotions all while providing premier customer service. Maintains store appearance. Using a Point-of-Sales system, processing cash exchanges, discounts, gift cards, credit cards, debit cards (cash handling) including counting money and returning accurate amounts to customer.

The qualifiers : Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to perform job duties. Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check. Previous retail experience preferred but not required. Be available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
